<p>beta-Dimethylaminoethyl N-(8-trifluoromethylthio-4-quinolyl)-anthranilate and its acid-addn. salts are new. The dehydrochloride of the base is specifically claimed. Used for treating muscular, nervous or joint pain, dental pain, migraine, rheumatic and allied disorders, lumbago, and for treatment of infectious and feverish conditions. The pref. cpd., beta-dimethylaminoethyl N-(8-trifluoro-methylthio-4-quinolyl) anthranilate dihydrochloride, was prepd. by reaction of methyl N-(8-trifluoromethylthio-4-quinolyl) anthranilate with dimethylaminoethanol in presence of NaH and converting the prod. into the dihydrochloride with ethanolic HCl.</p> |
