摘要 <p>1339863 Valves MARTONAIR Ltd 27 Jan 1972 [23 March 1971] 3804/72 Heading F2V [Also in Division H1] An electromagnetically-operated valve has a thermoplastics housing 1-3, secured to a port plate 19 with the interposition of a gasket 26 which can be fitted in either of two ways according to the operating mode required. The valve has a closure member 7 which is pivoted between rib 8 and one leg of soft iron yoke 4 and which carries an elastomeric plug 10 controlling communication between chamber 9 and passages 14, 16 terminating at ports 15, 17 respectively (Fig. 3). Chamber 9 communicates permanently with a work port 18. With the gasket in the position shown in Fig. 4, supply passage 21 connects via 20, 27 with port 15, and exhaust passage 25 connects via 24 (in the port plate) and 29 (in the gasket) with port 17, whilst work port 18 connects via 28 with passage 23. Chamber 9 is thus supplied with air only when the coil 6 is energized to shift closure member 7 against spring 13 from a seat around passage 14 to another around passage 16. By inverting the gasket, port 15 is connected to exhaust passage 25 via 27, and port 17 is connected to supply passage 21 via 31, whilst work port 18 connects via 30 with passage 23. The coil is embedded in thermoplastic housing part 2 and connects at 32 with a printed circuit board 33 providing a rectifier bridge composed of four silicon diodes. The circuit board is embedded in housing part 3 and has contact pins 35, 36. Seal rings 37 are provided around connecting elements 32.</p>
