The door leaf (5) is fitted with a hinge arm (14) rotating around a pivot (4) and fitted on the inside with lip (15). In the closed position the door (5) butts in a right angle against the edge of furniture body (6). The furniture body fitted hinge arm (2) is Z-shaped with the sorter end of the shape carrying the hinge pin (4), the other longer end fitted to the furniture body. One corner of the Z-shape carries a roller (8) seated in the shaped end of leaf or spring (10) which is threaded through the retaining yoke (11). The leaf spring constantly presses the axle of the roller against the cantilevered end of hinge arm (2) which is mounted to base plate (18) by a lever arrangement pivoting with the base plate around point (17).
