1473287 Inspecting repetition stripe patterns OPTICAL COATING LABORATORY Inc 12 Aug 1975 [9 Sept 1974] 33545/75 Heading G2J The accuracy of a repetitive stripe pattern, especially colour filters used in T.V. cameras is examined by use of a microscope in which a Fourier transform of a slit is produced, modulated by the part under examination and spacially filtered to supress the stripe pattern and thus to enhance the defects. A suitable microscope is disclosed, having a monochromator 161, imaging lens assembly 146 stage 121 for the part under inspection viewing optics 31 and a support assembly 34 for mounting on a bench 32.
