PURPOSE:To prevent the posture of a surgical operator from being deteriorated even if a microscope body is moved by varying a distance between both eyepiece lens barrels at any time by a variable means. CONSTITUTION:When a microscope body 8 of a microscope 1 for surgical operation is set to a state that the diseased part P1 of a center position in an observation object O on an operating table 35 can be observed, an eyepiece lens barrel 10A of an eye E1 side of a surgical operator is in a state that it is inserted most deeply against a fitting part 9C, and an eyepiece lens barrel 10B of an eye E2 side of an assistant is in a state that it is displaced to the utmost side from a fitting part 9D. In this state, when the microscope body 8 is moved to the diseased part P2 being near the assistant side for the convenience' sake for the surgical operation, the eyepiece lens barrel 10A is separated from the E1 of the surgical operator, and also, the eyepiece lens barrel 10B is also separated from the eye E2 of the assistant. Therefore, by bringing a handle 33 of the surgical operator side of the microscope body 8 to rotational operation, the eyepiece lens barrel 10A is displaced in the direction as indicated with an arrow X along an opposited optical axis C1 and an eyepiece 23 is allowed to face the eye E1. In the same way, by bringing the handle 33 of the assistant, side, as well to rotational operation in the same direction, the eyepiece lens barrel 10B is displaced along an opposed optical axis C2, and the eyepiece 23 is allowed to face the eye E2 of the assistant. |
