<p>A shower head has a housing (1) with a cavity (2) of circular cross-section into which leads a water supply pipe (3) and out of which leads a water outlet slot (6). The outlet end of the cavity is closed over most of its periphery by an insert (4). The water outlet slot is defined on one side by the curved wall of the housing and on the other side by an edge zone (5) of the insert which is formed by an arcuate portion of which the centre is eccentric to the axis of the cavity. Pref. the max. width of the water outlet slot, which converges towards its end, is not more than 1/10 of the radius of the cavity.</p> |
