<p>Process comprises (a) mixing ceramic raw material with 5-40 vol.% material (A), which can be burnt out, (b) working to shaped articles and (c) firing to form constructional units. (A) consists of or contains a spray-dried cellulose waste material (I). The material is used e.g. for mfr. of bricks and facing panels. (I) is available as uniform pellets, leading to uniform porosity of fired material, improved sound absorption and heat-insulation. Mechanical strength of end-prod. and ease of decoration are also improved.</p> |
