<p>The fabric is formed conventionally from natural or synthetic fibres, which is chemically or mechanically bonded into a bulky and voluminous material. This is then split into thin layers. The fabric is pref. split into layers with a weight of 80 g/m2, pref. 20 g/m2. The cutting machine uses a band cutting blade to cut the material into one or more layers. The process develops very thin non-wovens for applications such as in the garment industry, for filters, for insulation or for medical uses.</p> |
