The single family prefabricated house is light in weight transportable, quickly erected, and provided with effective thermic insulation for use in hot climates. It has an assembled substructure base, with the side surface fixed to it. Pillar traverses rest on this, providing support for a sealing covering, or roof, and a suspended ceiling is hung from them, so that there is a ventilated under-roof area for a generated freely moving layer of air. The under-roof is pref. mounted between Z-shaped traverses supported at the top of the side surface, with roof beams supporting a root which projects for solar radiation protection. Acceptably cool interior are provided inexpensively, without extensive conventional insulation.
|
