The two components are separately controlled, and a coupling point of the test set is allocated to each wiring point of the tested circuit. The 1 to n wiring points are interrogated in the rising order of their number (1 to n). They are then measured, wiring points of lower order number (1 to n-1) are disconnected and like controllable components (Ra1-Ran or Ts1-Tsn) at each coupling point (K1-Kn) are connected into a matrix with horizontal and vertical control wires.
