<p>A cutting system of the middle limbs of transformer laminations, first uses a V-shaped puncher for cutting V-shaped indentations in the longitudinal yoke stampings. Two shears at 45 deg. to the strip to be cut, and at 90 deg. to each other are then used for cutting the strip. First shears (8) cut the strip obliquely, and after a suitable feed the strip point (19) is cut off at right angles to the above cutting by the second shears (9). After a further feed, a half-cut is made by a V-puncher (6) to separate the back point (19). Finally the middle limb lamination (18) and the back point are cut off by the first shears (8) from the strip.</p> |
