<p>Parent Patent describes a process for packing a pasty spot remover (I) in individual portion capsules. Gelatin is used as the raw material for the press.-mouldable capsules. The spot remover contains no water. Use of a lower alcohol is avoided as far as possible. The improvement comprises hardening the ready, filled capsules by soaking in a formalin bath. Pref. the compsn. of (I) is modified to incorporate SiO2 having defined chemical and physical properties, i.e. pref. paste contains 6-13%SiO2FK300DS. Hardened capsules have improved heat-resistance, e.g. up to 80-85 degrees C. Hardening increases brittleness of gelatin and facilitates opening of capsule. SiO2 addn. facilitates brushing out of paste.</p> |
