<p>A cooling circuit for electrical systems generating heat, employs a simple flow sensitive device to maintain a continuous check on the flow of cooling water and provides automatic shut down if the rate falls below a minimum level. The cooling water is connected to a tube (1) that branches through a 'T' section to an orifice (4) sized to the minimum flow rate requirements. The other outlet of the 'T' is coupled to an overflow tube (1) that has two electrodes (5)insert in it. If the flow rate falls due to blockage etc. such that the electrodes are not immersed, a relay is triggered to shut down the equipment to be protected.</p> |
