The connecting pipe (2, 3) between the induction manifold and the pneumatic exhaust gas feed back valve (4) contains a regulator valve (1). The regulator valve (1) is actuated by a cam (29) fixed to the accelerator throttle valve shaft (30), so that at slow running and at full throttle speeds when no exhaust feed back is desired, the depression source is interrupted. The regulator valve (1) housing contains a first bore (14) leading to the pneumatic valve (4) and a second bore (16) leading to the depression source (2). The entrance to the valve chamber (15) from the depression source is blocked by a tongue shaped leaf spring (17). The spring is moved from its seat by a push rod (20) whose lower end is sealed by a bellow like cap (23) projecting through the valve housing. The push rod is displaced by a pivoted lever (24) carrying a roller (27) which makes contact with the accelerator shaft cam (29). |
