<p>The thermal core is placed inside an airtight chamber. Warm air ducts lead from the core through the walls of the chamber to the various rooms. Fresh air is supplied to the chamber by a fan on the input side and circulates in the chamber before entering the core. This keeps the chamber under pressure of cold air and ensures that any leakage is of cold and hot warm air. This reduces losses and prevents warm air flowing over the control equipment. Exhaust air is extracted by a separate fan and a portion can be returned to the inlet of the supply fan.</p> |
