The bag comprises a first rectangular web of fabric of which the centre of one side edge is adjoined by a narrower second rectangular web of fabric with the same length of side as that of the first web of fabric. The two opposed side edges of the first web are overlapped to form a tubular structure, and the narrower web is placed over the resulting slot. Pref. the width of the narrower web is equal to 1/3 of the width of the larger web. The narrower web may be trapezoidal or triangular, may be stitched to the larger web, and may be in a different colour and/or material to the larger web. It may be provided with a cord at its end remote from the larger web.
