A moving-coil system for a light-beam galvanometer, light-beam oscillograph and the like includes a suspending element with a mirror attached to the suspending element. A single rotatable coil defining a window is also provided. The rotating coil is securely mounted on the suspending element in a position inclined with respect thereto so as to cause the suspending element to extend through the window.
