<p>The brake disc is mounted on the small diameter inboard end of a bell profiled, cylindrical support fixed to the wheel. The mounting bracket for the brake units is of U form, drops over the axle from above, and is bolted onto the inside of a flange on the axle, inboard of the brake disc. The flange has tapped holes for this mounting. The bracket carries one or several brake units with pads each side of the disc. The arms of the mounting bracket are parallel and have square opening with rounded corners for the passage of the axle.</p> |
