Chipboard is fixed level over the base forming a space which is filled with a synthetic resin foam by local forming. The floating floor gives heat and foot noise insulation and compensates for under floor unevenness. Foaming of the resin can be at 5 degrees C and no toxic solvents are used. The floor can be walked on after 90 minutes and further treated. It will carry a high load.
