<p>The servomotor has a piston vith a number of opposed pressurisable areas and a multi-way control valve with sliding element whose position depends on the piston position and which controls pressurisation of successive piston areas. The piston areas are of different dimensions and bound separate concentric cylinder chambers. Areas of increasing size are alternately arranged at opposite ends of the piston. In the first slide position the smallest chamber is connected with the pressure source, the next two layer chambers are interconnected, and the largest chamber is connected to atmosphere. In the second position the smallest chamber is shut off from the source whilst the other connections remain. In the fluid positions the smallest chamber remains shut off from the source and is connected with the next layer chamber, whilst the chambers are interconnected and shut off from atmosphere.</p> |
