DC supply to AC actuated magnet - uses auxiliary time delay switch to bypass resistance component when magnet winding is connected into circuit

The circuit supplies DC to an AC actuated magnet with the aid of an auxiliary switch. It eliminates mains hum in mains driven actuator magnets, such as contactors for motors or magnetic valves. The auxiliary switch is used to by-pass a resistance when the magnet winding is brough into operation and drops out of the circuit with a predetermined time delay. The series reactive component is a capacitor in an AC triggering loop which also incorporates a rectifier in whose DC loop is the magnets winding.
