<p>An oven for heating paper fibres during the production of paper or cardboard sheets comprises a stainless steel welded tubular body with inner and outer plates, between which are inserted glass fibres, or other form of thermal insulation. A pipe for saturated steam feeds a central distributor in the upper part of the oven. The distributor has a perforated zone surrounded by stainless steel sponge. The heating system using the distribution 'sponge' avoids irregular heating caused by preferential currents. The paper as a result dries evenly, without depositing moist areas on the product.</p> |
