The control circuit, for a thyristor static converter, consists of a static inverter and rectifier connected together by a dc circuit and both containing thyristors. The thyristors in the rectifier are triggered separately from those in the static inverter. The two triggering circuits are interconnected such that the leading edge of each triggering pulse for the thyristors in the rectifier causes the generation of a triggering pulse for the thyristors in the static inverter. The filtering inductor in the dc intermediate circuit is designed only to protect the thyristors and to ensure reliability.
|
