<p>Actuator comprises a first needle mechanism with preliminary needles and falling needles, which acts onto the ends of the butt needles; a butt rake for moving the preliminary needles which have been selected by the falling needles, and a perforated plate acting as a stop for the preliminary needles. A second needle mechanism for acting on the other ends of the butt needles, a second butt rake and a second perforated plate are provided. Means are provided for synchronously moving the two butt rakes in the longitudinal direction of the butt needles. Each of the perforated plates is pressed against a stop by >=1 spring element, with a resilient bias in the opposite direction.</p> |
