A blade arm (13) in a mixer (10), especially a concrete mixer, has a sleeve-like slip-on wear protection (17) in the form of a sleeve (20) which is made of elastomeric material, can be placed around the blade arm and has a longitudinal zigzag-shaped dividing line (21). The dividing line forms alternating salients (22) and reentrants in the sleeve's edge sections (23, 24) facing one another. In the longitudinal direction of the sleeve material, a locking hole (25) runs through the projecting salients (22) of the two edge sections and serves to accommodate a locking pin (26) for locking the sleeve around the blade arm (13). <IMAGE>
