The control wheel can be easily adjusted to give different cam profiles, and is intended for a hand control for an automatic or motor driven machine, such as a block or casting finishing machine. The wheel has a series of radial grooves and individual cam fingers fit in these grooves to give the control profile required. The fingers are held are held in position by friction on the sides of th groove and there is a second holding wheel disc fitting on the first. A shock-absorbent layer is provided between the two discs. The control wheel follower mechanism is spring-loaded and has contact rollers with a knee lever operating mechanism.
