<p>A holder for displaying cut flowers, and which can be sold with them, is in the form of a ring (1) made of plastics. The bottom edge (2) is rolled inwards to provide a bead which acts as a support for the bottom (3), this being an inserted disc. To provide rigidity a thick cardboard (4) is placed inside the container, on the bottom. The interior of the container is filled by a plug (5) of open cell plastics foam, resting on the cardboard disc. The top edge (7) is rolled over to retain the foam in place. Water fills the cells of the foam, the stems of the flowers being inserted in it.</p> |
