<p>The travelling head has a sprayer bar on carriage (5) pulled over the ground by the hose carrying the water supply. Switches are fitted in critical areas to monitor functions, correct or malfunctioning being indicated by lamps (VI, VII, VIII), sound signals or high frequency signals picked up remotely. The hose is on a reel (1) and a spring loaded contact (3) between spirals (4) operates a switch (II) when the hose is paid out. Another switch (III) is fitted in the outlet (6) for the water supply operating the payout drive, to monitor this pressure, and a third switch (III1) in the water inlet monitors incoming water pressure.</p> |
