The machine is used for small areas asnd has five sowing heads, each supplied with seed from a central reservoir. Each head comprises a rotating disc provided with nozzles at different pitch circle diameters (11); its inner face forms a seal with the edge of a circular box. The box is divided into three chambers, the first (10) being connected to a vacuum source (15) and picking up th seeds on the tips of the nozzles. The second chamber (14) relieves the vacuum (117) and a low pressure jet (116) blows the seeds into the distributor pipe. The third chamber (40) is pressurised (43) to clean the nozzles.
