<p>A set of components to facilitate the work of installing door or window soffits in the walls of a building under construction. Comprises two side elements (2) and a floor and plinth element (3, 4) all of a breadth matching the thickness of the wall. These have interlocking complementary recesses and protrusions (16) at their abutting ends, and hollow spaces for a binding medium. The side elements are serrated to lock into the wall (10) and are fitted (5) for fixture to the door or window frame, on the soffit side. On the top or bottom side of the plinth or floor elements are cutouts for mortar, or other binding medium.</p> |
