Flat bed knitting machine pattern device - with synchronously driven pattern and selector disc for disposition of selected sinkers opposite needle butts

Variable pattern device mounted on the carriage of a flat bed knitting machine and having a pattern disc driven synchronously with a selector disc is provided with leaf springs for the sinkers which permit the interposer pins to move downwardly towards the needle butts, the free ends of the leaf springs being displaceable on both sides of the selector disc by a bi-polar selector magnet. The radially outward movement of the leaf springs is delimited by a pair of rings located with small radial clearance about the selector disc. Rings are made of non-magnetic material.
