<p>1469446 Stripping waste from sheet material J BOBST & FILS SA 29 Oct 1974 [7 March 1974] 46750/74 Heading B4B [Also in Division B8] A device for stripping waste 45 for a die-cut sheet 5<SP>1</SP> comprises two sides frames 25, 26 between which are mounted a fixed plate 12 provided with stripping tools 13 and a vertically movable plate 35 having apertures 36 for the waste, means for conveying sheets including gripper bars 8 fitted between endless chains 9, 9<SP>1</SP>, and lifting means 38 for lifting the conveyer means during vertical movement of the plate 35. The movable plate 35 is mounted on beams 15, 16 which are connected by links 31, 32, Fig. 2, to drive means, the beams being guided by rollers 19, 20, 23 running is guides 21, 22, 24 secured to the frames. The means for lifting the conveyer comprises chain guide bars 38 each pivoted at one end 39 to the side frames and at their other end, connected by a link 40 to a lever 41 (41<SP>1</SP>) pivotally mounted on a shaft 42 secured to the frame. The lever is also provided with a roller 44 engaging a cam 37. In operation, upon raising the beams 15, 16, the plate 35 engages a sheet 5<SP>1</SP> secured by the gripper bar 8 and a chain tensioner is then released. Due to the shape of the cam 37, continued upward movement of the beams causes the chain guide bars to pivot so that the sheet remains in line with the gripper bar 8 during ejection of the waste portions 45, Fig. 3.</p> |
