摘要 <p>1469207 Making deflection coils V T ALENTSEVICHJUS and J J BAIKAUSKAS 25 April 1975 17196/75 Heading B3A A deflection coil of a cathode ray tube is made on a machine comprising a two-part mandrel 30, one part, 31, of which is mounted on a driving spindle 3 for axial movement therealong and the other part 31<SP>1</SP> of which is rigidly mounted on a driven spindle 4, and means 13 and 45 for shaping respective sides of the wound coil. Shaping elements 13 are secured to a disc 9 rigid with the spindle 3 and the mandrel part 31 is rigid with a disc 10 which is axially movable along the spindle 3, angularly located by pins 11 and urged away from the disc 9 by springs 12. Slots (17), Fig. 2 (not shown), in the disc 10 allow the elements 13 to pass through. A ring 18, mounted on the disc 10 by pins 20 located in arcuate slots (19<SP>1</SP>), Fig. 2, is urged by a spring 22 to the position shown in Fig. 1 in which pins 19 abut the disc 9. To allow relative axial movement between discs 9 and 10, during shaping, a lever (26), Fig. 2, engaging a pin 19 is pneumatically actuated to rotate the ring 18 to a position in which the pins 19 can enter holes 19A in the disc 9. The shaping elements 45 are mounted on a disc 43 slidable along the spindle 4 against the action of a spring 44<SP>1</SP> by a pneumatic drive 42 via a clutch 50. The mandrel part 31<SP>1</SP> is rigid with a disc 32 integral with the spindle 4 which is axially movable by a pneumatic piston 7. In operation, wire is clamped to the disc 10 at 56. The spindle 4 is advanced by piston 7 to the Fig. 1 position in which the mandrel parts are interengaged and the spindle 3 is then rotated according to a control programme to wind a coil. A locking member 34 is pivoted by an electromagnetic drive 36 to engage notches 40 in the discs 9, 10 and 32 for the shaping steps. The coil is heated via the clamp 56, contact ring 57 and electric brush 59. The ring 18 is turned by lever (26) to align the pins 19 with holes 19A. The piston 7 is actuated to move the spindle 4, mandrel 30 and disc 10 to the left, Fig. 1, causing the shaping elements 13 to pass through the slits 17 and act on the left-hand side of the coil. Simultaneously the disc 32 actuates a slide spool 55 of a valve 54 causing air to be supplied to the drive 42 of the disc 43 and the shaping elements 45 are pressed into the righthand side of the coil. After shaping, the piston 7 is returned which separates the mandrel parts for removal of the finished coil. The springs 12 and 22 return the disc 10 and ring 18 respectively and disengagement of the disc 32 from the valve spool 55 allows the spring 44<SP>1</SP> to return the shaping elements 45.</p>
