The plug connector links electronic modules mechanically and electrically to the printed wiring of flexible strip cables. It consists of an insulated housing, with the top and bottom sections covering the printed wiring. The top and bottom surfaces have recesses running parallel to the printed wiring of the strip cable so as to form a tight fit. The top and bottom sections (1, 2) are made from a plastic material, and support a spring element (16) which presses the terminal strip (12) directly to the printed wiring. The cut-out (13) in the top surface of the housing diverge radially. The lower section of the housing is in the form of a rectangular plate with chamfered corners.
