Before fastening a support element (26) by means of a nail-like fastening means (36) which is driven into a load-bearing member (M) by means of a bolt-firing apparatus, the fastening means (36) is introduced into a connecting element (2), the front part (4, 8) of which is pushed, for its part, into a receiving opening (32, 34) on the support element (26). This combination of parts is then introduced, with the rear part (12) of the connecting element (2), into the bore (38) running along the bolt-firing apparatus and, after setting the front part of the connecting element (2) against the load-bearing member (M), said apparatus is fired. In this arrangement, the connecting element (2) serves as a guide member and, on fastening the support element (26) on the load-bearing member, is destroyed. <IMAGE> |
