As shown in Fig. 2 piezoceramic element 5 has electrodes 6 of stoved silver and the impermeable layer is provided by a metal tube 7. In Fig. 3 the element is completely coated with an ink-impermeable layer of stoved silver and glass solder, the corners 8 of the element then being ground to produce separate electrodes 9, 10. In another embodiment, Fig. 4 (not shown) a copper helix (11) within the elements bore electrically connects the element to the ink and spaces the element coaxially with the ink passage, the element and helix (11) being embedded in synthetic resin. In each embodiment ink acts as an electrical return conductor to the element. |
