Split-housing motor pump unit - has motor with brackets flanged onto split-housing part made in plastics

Motor/pump unit used mainly for producing water movement in swimming pools. The motor carries on its shaft stub an impeller operating in a housing consisting of front plate fitted to the outside wall of the swimming pool and casing. The motor is mounted on brackets terminating towards the swimming pool wall in ring which also serves to hold down the flanged edges of the housing. The cantilevered part of the motor bracket accommodates the pump housing which is protruding from the vertical face of plate. The discharge side of the pump is connected to manifold which ducts the water back into the swimming pool through the wall and discharge nozzle. Housing is made of plastics.
