MONITORING CONTROLLER FOR POWER SUPPLY PART

PURPOSE:To maintain the normal working of the title controller by monitoring the working states of a signal converting circuit and a control circuit and supplying the reset signal when these two circuits are stalled. CONSTITUTION:A serial power supply control signal is supplied to a serial/ parallel signal converting circuit 5 from a host controller 1 and converted into a parallel signal by a microprocessor 4. This parallel signal is applied to a power supply control circuit 7 and then processed by a microprocessor 6 of the circuit 7 for production of control signals. These control signals are sent to the power supply parts 21...2n. In the same way, the answer signals are sent back to the controller 1 from the parts 21...2n. Both processors 4 and 6 monitor their actions with each other by an incorporated state monitor program and via the action state signals 101 and 102 respectively. When a processor 4 or 6 is stalled, a reset signal 103 or 104 is supplied to the processor 4 from the processor 6 or 4 via an OR circuit 9B or 9A. Thus both a signal converting circuit and a control circuit can monitor their working states and reset with each other.
