<p>Process for the supply of a treatment fluid to a roller for application to monofilaments, filament yarns, ribbons and other textiles is new. The treatment fluid is delivered by a dosing pump to the rotating roller which is in contact with the material being treated. Side limits (grooves or rings) act jointly as guides for the material and prevent the fluid from dispersing to the sides and escaping from the ends of the roller. The design ensures that an accurate and consistent vol. of treatment fluid is delivered to the roller for even application without loss or spraying.</p> |
