The circuit is for the stabilisation of the line output stage in a television receiver which does not introduce appreciable loss of power or available working voltage, whilst providing freedom from the effects of a fluctuating power supply voltage. A control signal derived from the mains voltage controls the line output stage to give constant deflection amplitude and EHT, and also controls the control winding of a transductor (14) so that with increasing supply voltage the inductance of the working winding (13) increases. The dc voltage (U2) is greater than the operating voltage (U1).
