<p>The sludge obtd. is added to new concrete employed in mfg. the blocks, thus replacing at least part of the sand, fine aggregate and water used in the new concrete. The sludge is pref. fed into a tank with a stirrer and then supplied in dosed amts. to the mixer employed for making fresh concrete, thereby replacing all or part of the water, fines and/or sand. The sludge and the water obtd. are re-0used to avoid environmental pollution, the sludge being obtd. via a battery of settling tanks with an indentical design.</p> |
