<p>The semiconductor integrated circuit, for an electronic watch, includes several segmental l.e.d.'s., acting as display elements for the respective characters of the digital time display. The semiconductor substrae has a zone (Q1, Q2) acting as the control stage for the displayed characters and/or the display segments and a second zone (T1-T4) acting as a logic stage supplying the output signals to the display field. The first zone (Q1, Q2) includes a vertical bipolar transistor (Q2) with the substrate acting as the collector, a doping region of opposite type acting as the base and a further semiconductor zone of similar type to he substrate acting as the emitter. The second zone (T1-T4) includes a transistor (T4, T2) with one of two semiconductor regions of opposite type to the substrate acting as the source electrode, the other region acting as the drain electrode.</p> |
