The dry shaver has one or more light sources (3), enabling the skin being shaved to be illuminated. The light can be accommodated inside the shaver housing, in which there is a transparent window, and behind the shaver head, so that the skin is illuminated through the latter. The design makes shaving much easier under artificial light, particularly from a lamp in the ceiling.
