The manicure pincers for cutting nails incorporate a torsion spring (21) which maintains the jaws (13, 14) apart, and a handle chain which maintains the jaws in an almost closed position. The pincers has two arms (1, 2) pivoting about common axis (3) and forming the cutting jaw (13, 14). The axis (3) may be a screw of which the head is recessed into one arm (1). Opposed flats (15, 16) may form the arm to arm interfaces, and circular recesses (17, 19) on each interface accommodate the tortion spring (21). The recesses are concentric with the axle screw and have opposed radial channel extensions (18, 20). Opposed radial spring projections (22, 23) engage the resp channels to fix the jaws sprung together.
|
