The conveying system has an upper endless belt and a lower return endless belt. The trolleys are supplied to the upper belt for loading by means of transfer track, and the loaded trolleys travel up the belt conveyor to their end destination. Individual trolleys may be stopped or released forward at will be operating the wheel stops. The articles are unloaded into the conveyor and the trolleys remaining the right way up are transferred via the guides to the lower endless belt. The endless belt also has wheelstops and the trolleys are returned to the loading position via the transfer belt.
