Vibration reducing damper for archery bow - has arm with sliding spring loaded mass and shock absorber

The damper for the archery bow consists of an arm on the bow pointing in the shooting direction. The end of the arm (3) facing away from the bow has a stop (10). A spring (6) pushes a sliding compensating mass (7) against this stop. Between the compensating mass (7) and stop (10) is fitted a shock absorber (9). The stop (10) position on the arm can be varied. The spring (6) can be preloaded by an adjusting ring (4). Disturbing influences caused by bow vibrations are not transmitted to the arrow when the latter is released. No jolts are transmitted to the arrow guiding hand.
