<p>PURPOSE:To provide the coordinate input system which enables operations effectively utilizing the respective features of a pen input and a finger touch input, improves operability and enables operations without any sense of incongruity. CONSTITUTION:An input means identification part 2 discriminates whether the input from a coordinate input means 1 is executed by a pen or finger touch. When the input is executed by the finger, a finger coordinate input processing part 3 extracts the plane position of input coordinates and when the input is executed by the pen, a pen coordinate input processing part 4 extracts the point position of the input coordinates. An input event generation part 5 generates an event corresponding to the finger touch or the pen input, and a program corresponding to the generated event is executed by a program execution part 6. Since the operation of erase using an eraser or the operation of selecting plural objects is executed corresponding to the finger touch input, the operability can be improved, and operations are enabled without any sense of incompatibility.</p> |
