In chemically and electrically chargeable H2/air cells with H2 storage electrodes and aq. electrolytes, the H2 storage electrode is (partly) in an electrolyte contg. H-contg. fuel(s) (I) and the electrode, at least on the side next to the electrolyte, is capable of dehydrogenating (I) and storing it. The construction is simple, without the complex H2 storage and control equipment needed for fuel cells, and the charge capacity of the electrodes is high. |
