Telecommunication terminal keyboard has keys and associated switching elements arranged in several rows on a common support. The terminal equipment is used for the manual generation of electrical switching signals. A hemispherical top is formed on the operating surface of each key. It projects above the other key surfaces by more than the distance of key travel. The keyboard comprises four rows of five or seven keys (1) each. The keys (1) are provided with letters of the alphabet from top left to bottom right. The last two fields in the lower row are filled with a space key (2).
