PURPOSE:A beam searching range having sharp directivity in a vertical axis direction is provided in an acoustic wave searching apparatus and searching beam at the receiving point is made to have such fan-shape directivity that encloses the beam in a vertical axis direction, whereby measurement is made possible while wave receiver is kept fixed and the apparatus is simplified. |
